Human-Agent Collaboration Ratio
Definition
The share of a role's work performed by AI agents versus the human in the role, measured at the task level. A 70/30 role keeps the human on judgment, relationships, and exceptions while agents carry routine execution. Tracking this ratio across roles, instead of asking whether AI can replace a job, shows leaders where capacity actually sits today and how each role should be redesigned as agent capability improves.
